Scilly’s Businesses Urged To Get Involved In New Food Festival

karma foodThe first ‘Taste of Scilly’ festival takes place this September. And the Islands’ Partnership are urging local businesses to get involved with the celebration of the very best in food and drink from across the islands

IP Events Manager Zoe Parry is promising an exciting programme of events including pop-up beach barbecues, Taste of Scilly markets, taste trails and foodie breaks.

Islanders and visitors will also be able to take part in cooking masterclasses, chefs’ demos and bake-offs.

“We’re looking for lots of businesses to work with the Islands’ Partnership on the festival,” says Zoe.

“If you are a food supplier, food retailer, butcher, baker, chef, restaurant owner, even a B&B owner prepared to do Taste of Scilly breakfasts then we’d like to hear from you!

This will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business and highlight Scilly as a fantastic foodie destination,” she adds.

Zoe says anyone who wants to get involved should read their special Taste of Scilly Engagement Pack and get in touch with the Partnership by Monday 13th June.
