The run of awards success continues for Hell Bay Hotel on Bryher.

For the second year in a row, the hotel won gold for the Best Small Hotel at the South West Tourism Awards, which were held last night in Exeter Cathedral.

In the past three years, they’ve picked up six trophies – two gold and one silver in the South West Tourism Awards and three gold Cornwall Tourism Awards.

And the team could be adding another to the collection after hearing this week that they’ve been shortlisted for the Small Hotel of the Year at the Visit England National Awards for Excellence, which will be held in March.

The hotel was highly commended in the 2015 Awards.

Manager Philip Callan said: “To win gold for the Best Small Hotel at the South West Awards for the second year in a row and also be nominated again for the National Awards, is something we’re immensely proud of.

“We always aim to deliver the highest levels of service across all we do and to be recognised for this at both a regional and national level is a true honour and credit to the hard-working team we have here at Hell Bay.”
