Police Investigating Fourth Vehicle Damage Case

police landrover backPolice are investigating a fourth case of vehicle vandalism in just over a fortnight. And this time it has happened in broad daylight.

The car, which was parked across the pavement and part of the roadway on Little Porth, was damaged sometime between 10.30am and midday yesterday.

Police say it appears that someone cracked the windscreen glass in a concentrated area on the driver’s side.

Sergeant Colin Taylor says he’s still not linking the incidents but it now appears that windscreen damage is a way to “exact revenge or mark a grievance.”

Colin says he’s hopeful that the incident of damage to a Kier Construction vehicle at their Parting Carn site last Monday will be resolved soon.

Police have followed a lead and they hope to bring that matter to a conclusion this week.
