The iconic fashion and style magazine Vogue has recommended the pasties from the Farm Deli.

They’ve highlighted the Hugh Town business in their article A Week in Mousehole.

The authors describe the Cornish community as “the most charming little town on the English seaside.”

In the piece, writer Jo Rogers recommends that readers who stay there should take a daytrip flight to Scilly.

And as the article will be enjoyed by an international readership who might be unfamiliar with pasties, they’ve had to describe them as “a savoury baked pastry.”

Manager Ben Robbins says he was surprised to hear the Farm Deli had been featured.

He says they didn’t make themselves known to him while they were shopping but describes the recommendation as “pretty cool.”

Ben says he’s “not an avid Vogue reader” and had no idea that the article had been published until a mainland supplier called him.

You can read the piece on the Vogue website here.
