Islands’ Partnership Holding AGM

islands partnership logoThe Islands’ Partnership are holding their third Annual General Meeting on 22nd October.

It will be a chance for members of Scilly’s tourism and business organisation to hear how the sector has performed over the last season and the group’s plans for 2016.

There’ll also be a question and answer session with the board and IP staff.

Each year, the Partnership asks two of its directors to stand down and selects two new representatives to the board.

Three islanders have put their names forward as candidates for the ballot – Tresco councillor and Abbey Gardens curator Mike Nelhams, tourism business owner Sabine Schraudolph and new Duchy Deputy Land Steward Luke Humphries.

You’ll be able to cast your vote at the meeting, being held at the Church Hall on St Mary’s on Thursday 22nd October at 11am. You should contact the IP Office if you need boat transport from the off-islands.
