Week Ending 25 September 2015
First of 5 concrete pours completed for the quay tie-in
Concreting to continue throughout the rest of the week
Crane & Jack up barge demobilised and left
All fendering now delivered to Falmouth
Package Pump Station – due to be delivered to Falmouth this week
Mobilising solidification plant to Falmouth this week, with works set to commence 28-30 Sep 15 and last 10-14
13no pre cast wall units remain to be brought over
Ticket Office – Vinyl flooring to be completed this week with handover to follow
Freight Store – 4 of 6 new columns installed, 5th to follow by the end of this week
Freight Office – Vinyl flooring to be completed this week with handover to follow
Balcony – Steelwork installation has commenced and is due to be completed by the end of the weekend.
Chiller – Concrete pour of slab complete. Cold store ducting and doors in progress followed by commissioning.
Batching concrete for quay extension and freight store foundations
Receipt of Quay Widening blocks.
Bag filling for delivery to Parting Carn or direct to the quay continues.
The second phase or final removal remains on target weather permitting for mid October 2015.
