St Mary’s Quay Works Update From Kier 18th September

St Mary’s Harbour Improvement Project Weekly Update :
Week Ending 18 September 2015

Quay Extension:

Anchors to be grouted, grout due week ending 18 Sep 15.

Crane transfer off the jack-up barge completed.

Jack up barge demobilisation and exit anticipated end of this week.

Quay Widening:

Package Pump Station – delivery expected end of next week from Falmouth.

Installation process anticipated to commence 28-30 Sep 15 and last 10-14 days.

Delivery of precast units has now reached 80%.

Harbourside building:

Ticket Office – Vinyl flooring to complete end of this week

Freight Store – Excavation & casting end of this week. 2 columns remaining.

Freight Office – Flooring to complete end of this week with possible handover next week.

Balcony – Excavation of foundations by this week end with casting next week. Duration 5-7 days.

Commemorative blocks installed on the North Gable End of the Harbourside.

Chiller – Delivered. Concrete pour of slab end of this week. Cold store ducting and doors next week

followed by commissioning.

Parting Carn:

Batching concrete for Freight Store foundations and cold room slab.

Receipt of Quay Widening blocks.

Porthloo:

Bag filling for delivery to Parting Carn or direct to the quay continues.

The second phase or final removal remains on target weather permitting for mid October 2015.
