Scilly’s policing team are looking ‘pretty in pink’ this week.

Sergeant Colin Taylor and his colleagues are sporting fuchsia-coloured epaulettes on their uniforms as part of a charity drive supporting the Chief Constable’s favourite good causes.

1,300 staff across the force have paid to wear the colourful patches to raise cash for Shaun Sawyer’s chosen charities – Cancer Relief, Macmillan and the British Heart Foundation.

Colin Taylor says the islands’ officers are pleased to take part in the initiative.
