No Effect On Quay Work After International Supplier Goes Into Administration

st marys quay from aboveKier says that the St Mary’s quay project won’t be affected after a marine services supplier has gone into administration.

East Anglia-based Red 7 Marine Offshore made the national headlines over the weekend when it ceased trading with the loss of 280 jobs.

That caused some concern amongst islanders because Red 7 Marine provides the quayside jack-up barge with its crane platform that’s currently being used to lift concrete blocks.

But Nick Dobbie from Kier on St Mary’s says the two divisions are separate.
