Scillonian Man Appointed Newspaper Editor

christian-mayA Scillonian man has been appointed editor of a London newspaper.

28-year old Christian May will take up the role at London’s free business paper, City AM, later this summer.

The daily is read by around 110,000 Londoners.

Christian, who is the son of Andrew and Juliet May, attended Truro School and then went on to study UK and Middle East Politics at Exeter University. He later completed an MA in broadcast journalism in London.

He’s been Head Of Communications for the Institute of Directors since August 2013, responsible for all their media and campaigns. He’s also been seen regularly on BBC and Sky national news broadcasts in this role.
