Two national papers are reporting that an off-island has become one of the most expensive places for property in the UK.

The Sunday Times published data from property company Zoopla, which revealed that average prices have passed the £500,000 mark in 172 districts.

The Mail On Sunday added that most were around London, with the exception of Bryher, Solihull and Watlington in Oxfordshire.

Ian Sibley of Sibley’s Island Homes tells The Times that many homes are sold within the £200,000 to £400,000 range but luxury homes with sea views have been going for over a million pounds.
