More Flights Announced For Newquay Airport

Photo by Theo MoyeMore new routes through Newquay Airport could simplify air travel for Scilly’s visitors and islanders.

Flybe has announced that they’ll increase the number of services between Newquay and Manchester to ten flights per week, starting on 29th March.

There’ll be extra services on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.

Just under 50,000 passengers use the Manchester flight, which takes around one hour, each year.

It’s more good news for passengers making the Scilly connection. This year there will also be direct flights to Stansted and Dublin from the Cornish airport, which links to the islands by Skybus.
