Teachers Strike To Have Little Impact In Scilly

school 2 2014As schools across the country close today because of NUT, Unison and GMB union strike action, only one class at the Five Islands School will be affected.

Head teacher Linda Todd says the school has been unable to cover Blue Class lessons. Parents of the affected Year 5 pupils have been advised to make alternative arrangements.

All off-island bases will be open for business as usual.
