St Mary's Airport

St Mary’s Airport

Islanders will have a chance to view the plans for improving St Mary’s Airport this week.

Contractors Lagan Construction and the Council are holding a session at the Old Wesleyan Chapel on Thursday.

There’ll be artist impressions showing what the refurbished terminal will look like, as well as information on the runway resurfacing work.

Lagan Construction will also outline the St Mary’s road resurfacing programme, which the Council is funding.

Locals will be able to drop in between 2pm and 7pm to look at the plans and ask questions of the project team.

There will also be two formal 30-minute presentations at 3pm and 6pm.

Lagan Construction says that it is a great opportunity for the community to meet the teams from all the organisations that are making these changes happen.
