Scilly Art Goes On Permanent Display In New York

Heatherbell Barlow Sketchbook project_exampleNew Yorkers will be able to see the beauty of Scilly as an exhibition of art featuring the islands goes on permanent display.

Last year, Heatherbell Barlow’s postcard-sized sketches were shown as part of a mobile exhibition, which visited San Francisco, Kansas City, Washington and Melbourne in Australia.

The Devon-based artist says she fell in love with the islands after she found, “the smallest gap between Heaven and Earth“ in Scilly.

Now Heatherbell’s work will remain on display at the Brooklyn Art Library indefinitely.
