Devon and Cornwall Police to share staff with Dorset

Devon and Cornwall Police will share some services, staff and resources with Dorset to save money. Staff were informed at noon yesterday. They say it will protect budgets from neighbourhood policing. Will Scilly suffer because we’ll be on the edge of a large operational unit? Which services could be shared with Dorset. Is this going to mean a Devon/ Dorset/ Cornwall/ Scilly Police force? How do the public have their say, if at all?
