Business As Usual For St Agnes Boating

The Spirit of St Agnes

The Spirit of St Agnes

It’s business as usual for one of the islands’ busiest boatmen after a painful slip put him out of action.

John Peacock of St Agnes Boating has been told to lay up and rest after a he suffered a fall last week.

John slipped on the boat and fell onto his back, bruising his ribs.

He thinks one may be broken too and says it’s very painful.

He’s brought in cover though. Mark Sedgeman, who deputises when John is on holiday, will operate services until John recovers.

But he’ll be using the lower-capacity Enterprise, which carries twelve passengers.

John wants anyone intending to travel to St Agnes to call 422704 so that they can be accommodated. He says it’s fairly quiet at the moment so the smaller boat should be fine.
