Islands’ Partnership Holding Festive Networking Event

islands partnership logoIndustry experts will tell islands’ businesses how to improve their profitability next week. And they’ll give tips on how they can make the most of Facebook and Twitter.

Guest speakers will address members at the first business networking event to be held by the Islands’ Partnership.

Tourism Coordinator Amanda Pender, says it’s an opportunity for members to pick the brains of gurus from tourism-related businesses, who’ve been invited along to speak at the event.

They include Robin Barker. He’s a previous Head of Marketing at the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth. He’ll offer an insight into how people can make the most of social media.

Robin visited Scilly recently to judge the businesses short-listed for the Cornwall Tourism Awards.

Jenifer Littman is the Chief Executive of Tourism for All UK and will be offering practical advice on delivering improved accessibility across the islands.

And former Legoland Winsdor man, Rob Baldry, will deliver tips on how businesses can increase profitability.

The event at Tregarthen’s Hotel next Wednesday, 11th December, from 10.30am to 2.00pm features a buffet lunch.

You can book a place on 424036 or amylangdon@islandspartnership.co.uk.
