Porthmellon Business Can Build New Extension

wesleyan chapel 3A Porthmellon business has been granted permission to build an extension to the front of their workshop.

The 5m square wooden lean-to will be used to store electrical tools for the business.

Chief Planning Officer Craig Dryden said the shed would be built in similar materials to the existing unit and would help with the economic use of the plot.

And while it would remove some parking space, he didn’t feel this was significant.

Applicant Alec Hicks says it’s needed because the existing workshop is being used increasingly to produce joinery for local building projects.
