Scilly Weekend Boat Cancellations/ Flight Warning

Island transport operators are expecting bad weather this weekend. 50mph winds could hit the islands on Saturday. The Steamship Company, which cancelled the sailing of the Scillonian III last Monday, has also decided to call off this Saturday’s sailing. There will be no boat on Saturday November 2nd and passengers are being asked to make alternative arrangements. Friday’s sailing will leave Penzance at 07.45 and arrive at St Mary’s at 10.30. The return sailing on Friday will depart St Mary’s at 12.45 and arrive at Penzance at 3.30pm.
St Agnes Boatman John Peacock has also altered his plans, cancelling his Saturday morning trips . He will operate to St Mary’s at 12.00, returning at 12.30, if the weather allows.
Flights to and from Scilly may also be affected. Skybus say passengers may wish to consider changing flights booked for Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November. Amendments will be free of charge and are subject to seat availability.
