Truro Cathedral Choir is set to return to Scilly following their successful tour in 2012.

They’ll be giving two performances on St Mary’s as well as making a trip to St Agnes.

The internationally renowned choir, led by Director of Music Christopher Gray, consist of eighteen boys and twelve men and they’ll be accompanied by three organists.

St Mary’s Parish Chaplain, Canon Paul Miller, says he’s delighted the choir will be returning to Scilly, especially as they proved so popular last time.

He said it’s an opportunity to hear a magnificent choir without having to leave the islands!

And Paul says he’s been overwhelmed at the level of commitment people on Scilly have shown in offering hospitality and support to the visitors.

The choir will give a concert at St. Mary’s Parish Church on April 23rd at 8.15pm and on St. Agnes on April 24th at 11.30am. On the same day they’ll sing Choral Evensong at the Parish Church at 6pm.
