Twenty red squirrels were flown in to Tresco on an RNAS Culdrose helicopter on Wednesday.

Mike Nelhams and David Hamilton from the Abbey Gardens picked up the endangered mammals from the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey before bringing them down to Cornwall for the helicopter flight over.

The squirrels will be released before the end of the weekend.
