A St Mary’s chef has had one of his recipes included in a nationally available charity cookbook.

Andrew O’Connor, who has been the head chef that Juliet’s Garden for three years, was approached by the organisers of the 365 Charity Cookbook.

It’s being produced in both electronic and hardcopy versions.

Each chef has suggested a meal to eat on their birthday, featuring the food in season at that time of the year.

As Drew’s birthday is in May, he has offered a recipe featuring hake, peas from Seaways Farm and asparagus from Cornwall.

The not for profit publishing project will fund two cancer charities and Help for Heroes.
