Harbour Staff Hand New Suggestion Postcards To Cruise Passengers

st marys quay welcome signCruise ship visitors have been asked to share their Scilly experiences and offer suggestions for improvements on the back of a free postcard.

Yesterday harbour staff handed them out to many of the 780 passengers who came ashore from the Marco Polo.

The cards have been produced by the Islands’ Partnership and have space for passenger email addresses and comments. The information will help shape improvements to tourism as well as provide a database for marketing purposes.

St Mary’s Harbourmaster Dale Clark says his team are keen to help with the initiative and hopes the passengers will take the time to fill in their details and hand back the tear-off slip before they leave the islands.

The four different designs on the postcards feature a range of views that show Scilly at it’s best, including beaches, gardens and seals.
