Scilly Food Event Dates Confirmed

Following the success of 2012’s inaugural Food Festival, Tresco and Bryher will be celebrating the very best in local produce, producers, chefs and supplier again. There’s a meeting next week to sort out arrangements says Issy Tibbs and we’ll have an update next week. But we can confirm that it will run on Saturday and Sunday 14th and 15th September.

Tresco events on the Saturday include information on Tresco Beef and tasting with island farmer Paul Christopher.
Meet the Pender family who provide Bryher crab and lobster.
Tasting venues include the New Inn, Ruin and Flying Boat Club.

15 September, on Bryher there will be seafood demonstrations from Hell Bay’s Head Chef Richard Kearsley.
Issy and Gareth Tibbs will sell croissants, brunch and baked goods from Samson Hill Cottage. And there will be food from the Hell Bay Crab Shack- their new occasional, "pop-up" restaurant in the hotel grounds.
