Police Warning To Be Vigilant After Honesty Box Theft

honesty boxSt Mary’s police are urging islanders who have honesty boxes to empty them regularly or consider using a tin that can’t be accessed easily.

It’s after £8 collected for St Mary’s Gig Club was taken from Jess Vian’s honesty box bookstall on The Garrison.

PC Faye Webb says it is a small amount, but it may be prudent to be vigilant over the next few days.

    Vigilant yes, but don’t let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch. Trust is so important in a small community.
