School Lollipop Patrol To Continue

School Crossing Patrol

School Crossing Patrol

The school’s lollipop man will be continuing his patrol.

The service was put in place last year after concerns over road safety around the entrance to the new school at Nowhere.

But the budget was approved on the understanding that progress would be reviewed after 12 months.

After training by visiting police, Max Neale started his morning and afternoon crossing patrols in November last year.

Now members of the Council’s Children and Young People’s committee have decided that the crossing patrol makes a valuable contribution to road safety at the school and have agreed to continue the service.
