Police Called To Garrison Disturbance

Police light 2A visitor staying in the Garrison area spent the night in less than luxurious accommodation on Sunday night. He was arrested on an allegation of breach of the peace.

Officers were called out at around 1.30am on Monday morning following complaints made over the noise from two males arguing after a night out. One of the men was taken to the police station and kept in overnight.

By daybreak he had slept off the effects of drink and was apologetic, says Sergeant Colin Taylor.

He continued his holiday with the rest of the visiting party, including the man with whom he was arguing.

Colin says there’ll be no further police action.
