Oldest St Agnes Resident Fundraising For Another Year

agnes lane flowersThe oldest resident of St Agnes has opened up her garden gate again for visitors to sit and enjoy the view over the Cove and Wingletang Down.

This is now the 11th year that Dorothy Barker, who is 84, has invited people to rest for a while across from Grinlinton Farmhouse and donate to charity while they’re taking in the view.

Dorothy started the fundraising with her late husband Maurice.

Between 2003 and 2012 Dorothy has raised a total of £8,663, with two thirds earmarked for the Air Ambulance and one third for the Medical Launch.
