Disruption Hits Mainland Rail Services

Islanders coming home for the holidays are facing severe disruption on the mainland.

Flooding has led to the suspension of railway services between Taunton, Exeter St David’s, Plymouth and Penzance.

Services operating between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads, towards Exeter St David’s, Plymouth and Penzance will terminate at either Taunton or Tiverton Parkway in both directions.

The line north of Exeter will be closed and there is currently no estimate available for how long it will remain closed for.

Services due to operate to/from Penzance will start or terminate at Exeter.

The biggest problem is bloody Skybus

You know the BIH Chopper has been sitting on the tarmac at Newquay waiting to be hired out.
Skybus could have hired it to get people back for Christmas, but they didn’t.
    Shame on the ISSCO
