Window Smashed At St Mary’s Property

The damage to a window at Longstone

St Mary’s police are hoping someone will come forward with information about criminal damage at Longstone.

Sometime between Saturday night and Sunday lunchtime, a large window at the side of the café was smashed after a garden pitchfork was thrown throw through the glass.

Sergeant Colin Taylor says a picnic table and bench was also overturned.

The fork has been taken as evidence and Colin may send it to the mainland for forensic testing.

He says whoever did this will have caused around £100 of damage and he’d like them to come forward before the matter is escalated.
