Service Will Mark Garden Of Remembrance
A short service will be held on Monday in The Park, in Hugh Town, as the Royal British Legion open their Garden of Remembrance.
Each year, a place is set aside in the centre of town where residents and visitors can place crosses and poppies in remembrance of family or friends who served in the forces.
Reverend Charlie Gibbs will lead prayers and words of thanks will be offered by Council chairman Mike Hicks at 11am.
The poppies and crosses will be transferred to the War Memorial on November 12th.
