St Mary’s Police have arrested a Tresco Estate worker for failing to appear in court.

The male in his 30s didn’t appear in court in Exeter to face criminal charges on what officers say, “was not a crime of violence.”

Sergeant Colin Taylor said he was compliant and didn’t require handcuffing. Colin and PC Mat Collier took the man on an Estate golf buggy to the heliport and Mat accompanied him on the helicopter to the mainland.

He was handed over to police in Camborne.
