Wildlife Trust Staff Member Meets Prince Charles

A member of the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust has met Prince Charles at his Gloucestershire estate to mark 50 years of Wildlife Trusts.

Jacqueline Pearson went on a tour of the gardens at Highgrove and inspected the Prince’s wildflower meadow.

She says she was impressed by the birdlife, which included a fledging tree creeper in a gazebo in the gardens.

Jacqueline came away with the impression that the Prince clearly cares about the natural environment in the gardens.

One member of each Trust was invited to the event on May 31st.

She felt his talk to attendees was inspirational.

The highlight of her evening was when the Prince said that the attendance of a representative from the Islands was “delightful.”
