Police Called To Party On Garrison

St Mary’s police have spoken to local young people and some seasonal workers after a party on the Garrison on Sunday night brought complaints from neighbours.

They called officers out at around midnight.

Police found an underage person drinking and PC Mat Collier says they were concerned that electricity was being extracted from the football hut, which is an offence.

It appears that someone had climbed inside and flicked on the mains to supply a stereo for music.

Mat says most of the group have been traced and been told to clear up discarded cans and bottles which had been left around the site.

The matter won’t be taken further.
