Scilly Has Lowest Child Poverty Rate

Scilly has the lowest number of children living in poverty.

A nationwide survey by the Campaign to End Child Poverty considers children to be in poverty if their family’s income is under 60% of the average income of £25,000.

The East London area Tower Hamlets was named as the worst with 52% of children in the category comparing with just 3% here.

Next to us Wokingham, with 5% of kids impoverished.
