Steamship Company Help Local Marathon Runner

The Steamship Company has stepped in to help a St Mary’s Councillor run a half marathon for bowel cancer research.

Free Skybus travel was offered so Gaz O’Neil could take part in the City of Norwich run on November 27th.

He has raised £600.

Gaz, who only started running earlier this year, says it was tough and one of the professional runners said the conditions made it the hardest half marathon she’d ever run.

It hasn’t put him off and he’s training hard to get ready for his first full marathon in Paris next April.
