Hunt Is On For Baby To Star In Nativity Procession

The annual hunt is on to find a baby to play the star role in the annual joint churches nativity procession.

Each year, the story of Joseph and Mary is re-enacted with a walk from the Star Castle into the town.

The couple enter some of the islands’ inns, to be turned away. They are joined by the “wise men” at the Bank before entering the Methodist Church or for the carol service.

The Reverend Charlie Gibbs says it would be good to find a couple with an infant who’d like to play the parts but said just a baby to fill the starring role would be good too.
