Theatre Club Hold Panto Auditions

St Mary’s Theatre Club have held auditions for their January pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Producer, Mary Dean, says she’s particularly pleased with the number of children auditioning this year. Around 35 children and 10 adults tried out for the available parts over two sessions and Wednesday and Thursday at the Town Hall.

This is the first time the Theatre Club has performed Snow White and they will be adapting a bought-in script to include local references.

Police officer, Marc Blyth, was so keen to be in the panto that he auditioned on both nights. He told us he wasn’t sure if he’d got the role.

He auditioned for a part as an Owl.
