St Martin’s Runner Raises Funds For Heart Charity

Dawn Bradford

St Martin’s runner, Dawn Bradford, raised £300 for the British Heart Foundation by taking part in the “Run to the Beat” half-marathon around Greenwich on Sunday.

Dawn completed the circuit in 1 hour 59 minutes and told fellow islander Ros Hicks it was awful. She says she’ll definitely do more training for next time!

Her memorable moment was getting caught short and having to “do a Paula Radcliffe” as she put it, in front of 17,000 other runners.
