St Erth Heliport Consultation Delayed

British International Helicopters has delayed a public display of its new heliport proposals for St Erth.

Chief Executive Tony Jones says the nature and the complexity of the project means that they haven’t been able to complete the outline in time and he intends putting on the show at the beginning of September. The event was originally planned for the 18th and 19th August.

There weren’t plans to bring the display to the islands but they will now show their proposals at St Mary’s airport after the mainland exhibition.

The helicopter company intends to apply for planning permission from Cornwall Council for the new terminal, hanger and take-off pad later in September.
