Top Police Officer To Make First Visit To Islands

The top Police Officer in Cornwall and Scilly will make his first official visit to the islands next Wednesday.

Chief Superintendent Chris Borland took over from Elaine Marshall who retired in October. He is Basic Command Unit Commander of Cornwall.

Mike Hicks, who has previously served on the Police authority, says in a way, he could be considered Chief Constable of Scilly and Cornwall.

During his three day visit to the islands he’ll meet the Council Chief Executive, Philip Hygate and Mike as Council Chair. He’ll also spend time with the local policing team.
