Video Promotion To Target Tired City Commuters

Up to 30,000 London commuters, who each day file out of Liverpool Street Station, could see a specially produced video promoting our islands.

From July 15th to August 31st, a 30 second promotional film will be screened at least 2000 times a day in a promotion designed to encourage more city workers to escape the capital for the solitude of Scilly.

The £5000 promotion will be hosted on a three-sided display board. The cost includes the production of a short promo video, which the Tourist Information Centre will be able to use at shows and events in the future.

The footage shows the beauty of the beaches and activity on St Mary’s and has come from the producers of An Island Parish, Tiger Aspect.

St Agnes based Rough Island Band have offered one of their tracks as the backing music.
