PC Saves Blushes Of Skinny-Dipper

Porthcressa Beach, scene of the skinny-dipping incident

St Mary’s police have come to the aid of a skinny-dipper who was stitched up by his mates on Friday night and left without a stitch to wear.

At around 1.30am on Saturday morning, after the disco had ended, PC Mat Collier noticed clothing on top of the police vehicle, which was parked nearby.

Mat stumbled upon a man and a woman who, whilst trying to stifle their giggles, informed him that they had run off with their friend’s clothes while he went for a late night paddle.

Matt, who found the man sheepishly waiting in the water, handed him his clothes.

The visitor, in his 30s, thanked the officer for being so good about it.
