Police Called To Incident At Mundesley House

Mundesley House, scene of the incident in the early hours of Monday morning

Doors, windows and mirrors have been damaged at the school boarding house, Mundesley House after an incident in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police were called out at 12.45am yesterday following reports that a man was allegedly brandishing a knife and making threats to kill.

Two officers and a special police officer checked each room of the property armed with tasers before they  located one male in the churchyard opposite.

He was detained after officers prepared to deploy a taser. It didn’t fire but the red tracking beam was set on the male.

Police held a male overnight but he was not charged on St Mary’s. The male was escorted to the mainland by officers and questioning will continue in Camborne.

A second man will be dealt with by officers at a Cornish police station.

We understand that both males, who are not local, are no longer on the island.

omg that’s alarming, could the two men involved in this incident be banned from ever returning to the islands? Is that possible? If so anyone who is convicted of crime on scilly should be immediately deported and banned from ever returning.
