Laser Tag Returns to Garrison

Laser Tag organiser Jim Johnson

For the fourth year in a row, Scilly youngsters will have a chance to try out their target skills with Laser Tag on the Garrison.

The event has grown from a weekend using just 10 guns to double that number and the number of participants has trebled since 2008.

The sessions are organised by the youth team at Carn Thomas and Jim Johnson says that no paint is used or pain inflicted by the handsets as players direct the laser at their targets.

Jim told us that the event is a great way to keep fit and many children who don’t normally take part in sport really enjoy the games. He also said it can bring players out of their shells.

The sessions will be taking place on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of May. There will be separate sessions for primary school kids on the Saturday morning with older pupils in the afternoon and the following morning. Families can take part on Sunday afternoon.
